Some cute dialogue, but when it comes to romantic movies, I want at least one big "ah" moment, when you tear up and your heart squeezes. Maybe that's why I enjoy reading romance novels more than watching romantic movies. Novels deliver on the emotion. As for new movies: I enjoyed The Proposal with Sandra Bullock. Not OMG great, but very charming and entertaining. I agree about The Ugly Truth. Of course, that was the writer in me criticizing that. The hopeless romantic in me LOVED it all and wants to own it when it comes out on DVD! (I also LOVED The Holiday.)
